iWeb and PHP

Recently completed the integration of PHP in iWeb.

It's now possible to add PHP directly into iWeb without manually editing the pages after publishing. And with the PHP function session() you can create nice, password protected websites with iWeb.

Visible area Safari iOS 5

The visible area in iOS 5's Safari is 18 pixels less than the previous version.

Now my carefully crafted Made for iPad iWeb pages scroll. The horror.

One.com Cloud Drive

One.com has introduced their version of the Cloud.

https://www.one.com/en/clouddrive

Unfortunately, there isn't an app for OS X yet.

To overcome that, you can still use the service on your Mac.

Here's how you mount your clouddrive on the desktop.

In the Finder do Command-K (connect to server) and paste this line :

https://username.clouddrive.domainname.com/

Where username is the name you entered when you setup your drive and where domainname.com is, ahum, your domainname. Right?

And use https: and NOT http:

During sign-in you get an alert that the certificate is unknown. You have to decide what to do. Continue.

I also use this setup on my iPad with 3rd party applications like iFiles and iStorage HD, both available in the App Store. If you use these apps, select WebDAV Secure as the protocol.
